One of the worst Harry Potter games,
When I ordered this in the mail, I was expecting a Harry Potter game much like the 6th one with even better controls. The spells in the Half Blood Prince game have you move the Wii remote like a wand, so duels get very intense. Gameplay was fun and interesting. The first thing you do in this game is learn the controls by fending off Deatheaters while with Hagrid on the motorbike. In this game, you press B to shoot the spells which already brings the fun factor down. You move Harry with the nunchuck but control the camera with the remote which makes moving and casting spells difficult. The graphics in this game are worse than the previous one, Hermione looks like Ginny and Ron is oddly blurry. The actual game is more like a series of cut scenes intermingled with minigame-ish “adventures”. Instead of having different “wand” movements to change spells, you must go on a spell wheel, which takes away from the game because it pauses to let to you choose a spell. The controls are not intuitive and hard to use. I haven’t finished the game yet but I am already getting a headache and I am very bored so far. No where near as good the previous game or even Lego years 1-4, both of which I highly recommend. Hope this helps, and hopefully it will get better.

|The Worst Harry Potter Game Yet,
First let me tell you I am a huge fan of the books, movies, and several of EA Games other Harry Potter titles. This game is not created with the Harry fan in mind. The entire game is targeting death eaters with your wiimote and stunning them till they are all incapacitated. The other half consists of Harry hiding under the invisibility cloak and trying to retrieve items without bumping into anyone or being noticed, which I must say is nearly impossible to perform with the camera angles and controls. The controls are down right horrible, the visual effects are bad, and I am seriously regretting the 50$ purchase of this game. I played until I was about 2 hours into it and was so bored/frustrated that I have no desire to even finish the game. I can’t imagine what this game would be like if it were a child playing it. I am 26 year old frequent gamer and was playing on easy and was so agrivated and downright mad that they produced something this terrible. Bottem line if you want a good Harry Potter game that is fun, entertaining and worth the money, purchase either Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 (my personal favorite) or Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. What will I do with this game? Take it in and trade it, anything I get is an improvement on this awful game. I hope this helps when you are shopping for any Harry Potter games!
