As a budding wedding designer, YOU create the perfect wedding that meets the expectations of the bride. As you progress through the game, meet new brides and even create a custom wedding experience for your very own bride!A wedding may only take a simple “I do” and a kiss to seal, but the perfect one takes a lot of planning and the guidance of an expert. In Imagine Wedding Designer the player’s goal is to become just such an expert as they make their way to the top of the wedding design business. Along the way they will get hands-on experience, designing every aspect of six wedding ceremonies for six very different brides, each with their own tastes and sense of style. From invitations and venues, to flowers, makeup and dresses you will plan it all. And eventually you will even create a custom wedding experience for your own bride character. Creating that one perfect day is never easy, but its what players strive for in Imagine Wedding Designer.

Key Game Features:
- Manage the weddings of 6 different brides, each with their own personality and specific tastes.
- Design the wedding invitation, choose the dress, veil, bouquet, and more. You can also choose the bride’s hair and makeup, the location of the ceremony, and the music.
- Choose who will be in the ceremony and select the outfits that will please the bride
- Live the big day. Ensure everything goes smoothly and your bride is happy. If not, you may face some unexpected events during the ceremony.
- Unlock new characters, clothing, and accessories with each “perfect” wedding that you design. Exchange the unlockables with your friends via the DS’ WIFI connection.

My 9 year-old daughter just spent her hard-earned money on this game thinking it would great fun. Well it was pretty fun for the first few hours. Then it was over. With only six brides and very limited design choices she was done in no time. Your dress choices are limited to dress length and color. Bouquets are one of three with no design element to choose. Bridesmaid dresses are BORING! And the tuxes are worse. Once you are done with the pre-selected brides you do have the option to do a free-style wedding, but you are still limited to the same selections as before. You do unlock additional items as you go along, but you are done before it becomes worthwhile.
I think to make this more fun, the game designer should have at a minimum 25 brides, each one more challenging than the next. Also you should be able to unlock more new features as you pass each level – new bouquets (at least let us pick our flower colors!), new veils, new jewelry, etc… And please let us be the designer, not just pick and choose from the limited selections offered.
This game has great potential, really. The wedding locations are beautiful. The brides are charming. I just don’t think it has enough substance as it is right now.
I was really excited about this game when I saw it because I figured designing weddings would be tons of fun. But this game is no fun at all!
There are only about six brides and you have to choose all these things for them like dress, invitations, place for the wedding, and what the parents, best man, maid of honor, and ring bearer and flower girl will be wearing. You also have all these little pointless choices to make like designing the bride’s bedroom. If the bride is happy with all the choices you make the wedding goes fine, but if she isn’t (and she never is happy with everything) then people fall and the wedding goes badly. Then you get a chance to go back and correct things to make her happy. I have liked other imagine game and I am very disappointed in this one. I am also disappointed in the Imagine company. I think they had a chance to make a game that would be really different and fun. And with this game they blew it!
This game is pretty fun, but it was really short with only 6 brides. It was fun that you got to create your own bride. You are limited to picking color and style only for a lot of things, but it is pretty fun.
This game is really boring. I’m really glad I rented it on gamefly instead of buying it.My 11-year-old daughter and I finished in about a half hour. Don’t waste your money on this!
I’m 24 years old and got this for Christmas because I enjoy planning my own wedding. This game is VERY VERY boring. You just have to watch the “bride’s” facial expressions to know what she’d like in order to pass. I agree with the other reviewers that the choices are very limited. Not a fan at all.
