Beware, this game should not have been released to the public so soon. I have played the game three times and it has frozen each time. I have unlocked 6 areas and each time I attempt a new goal it freezes up. The new trick mode is great, but many aspects of the game are unpolished, including the graphics; buildings don’t connect evenly with the ground. Do yourself a favor and save your money, there are plenty of “Out Of Bounds” areas in Wasteland.
This is a wonderful and fun game for my kids. I even play it too!
My husband and 3 boys played this game for 10 hours straight…the graphics are amazing. Fun game to play with challenging levels and surprises around every corner!
This game is really just an afterthought to the amazing Project 8 on the Xbox 360/PS3. They only tacked this release on to get more sells, and it is the most terrible port I have ever played. The graphics are terrible, even for the system it’s on, and the world is not streaming like it is in the next gen version. It is also really short, and the cutscenes are video files pre-rendered from the 360 version.
The next-gen game has an amazingly fun, hilarious bail system that requires physics processing too advanced for the original xbox, as well as some levels that are totally different and better in comparison. The booklet inside the Xbox version has no pictures, and has only basic information about how to play the game, whereas the 360 version of the booklet is filled with pictures, and has the song credits etc.
Trust me in saying that unless you are poor/cheap, get a 360 or a PS3 if you want this game. Or get any of the other Tony Hawk’s games that are on Xbox. They almost all have better graphics/story/fun. Just stay the heck away from this load of trash.
Ive never been into alot of skateboarding games because the earlier ones just werent fun for me. But i got this one 2 days ago and havnt stopped playing it. The graphics are better than i expected, the gameplay is easy to understand. the missions and tricks that are necessary to complete to get further in the game arnt too easy. it does have its glitches, as all games do, but they havnt effected gamplay to much,
